Jake Behrens, who has worked with the CIRAS Technology Group on Industry 4.0 services, will now take on the role of capstone project manager. He replaces Carey Novak, who recently retired from the position.
Behrens’ previous industry experience will ease the transition of roles within CIRAS. The work he has done on Industry 4.0 provides a background in technical and industrial advancement that’s essential to his new responsibilities.
The Capstone Program matches students with companies that need engineering resources to solve problems, develop new products, or create new processes. In addition, the -program gives companies access future prospective employees and provides a platform for sharing innovative ideas. Behrens will be at the forefront of connecting these students with companies seeking to get involved with them.
