Iowa State University’s Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems has begun offering an online graduate certificate in supply chain management. Prospective students have until August 10 to register for classes that begin this fall.
This a completely on-line program that seeks to provide students with expertise in logistics, purchasing, and process improvement. Students can work at their own pace and will earn a certificate after taking four courses. However, those courses should be approved by the program director prior to registration.
This certificate is intended for working professionals, as well as students enrolled in graduate programs who are employed or seeking a career as a business analyst, supply chain analyst, or who want to move into a supply chain position.
Students must maintain a grade average of 3.0 or higher. This certificate may be earned either before, after, or concurrently with a master’s or doctoral degree. At least three credits may not be used to satisfy any other degree requirements.
