Emily Betz has joined CIRAS as a project manager specializing in process improvement.
Emily has over 10 years of experience using Lean principles to help companies solve their business challenges. She has helped hundreds of organizations examine their processes to gain efficiencies and improve productivity. Emily has worked in multiple sectors including manufacturing, construction, finance, agriculture, food manufacturing, government, education, logistics, and warehousing. Emily earned a bachelor’s degree from Central College and a master’s degree from the State University of New York (SUNY), Stony Brook. She is a Workplace Lean certified master trainer and earned a certificate in Lean Manufacturing from the Lean Enterprise Institute administered by University of Nebraska.
Emily comes to CIRAS from DMACC where she was a business consultant. She will be assisting Iowa organizations to improve processes in production and knowledge work. Emily will be based in the Des Moines area and serve clients throughout the state.
