Q: Tell me about your job and how it contributes to the overall goals of CIRAS to help companies prosper.

As a primary point of contact for companies, I help identify areas for improvement and coordinate with the appropriate CIRAS team members to implement initiatives that drive growth and success.

Q: What skills or experiences have prepared you for this job?

I have 27 years of experience in the manufacturing sector, with the last 12 focused on helping facilities improve processes and plant performance.

Q: What types of companies do you work with?

I work with all Iowa companies that seek CIRAS assistance to continuously improve their business operations.

Q: What opportunities for advancement are available for companies working with CIRAS?

There are many opportunities available for companies working with CIRAS. Since each company has different needs, we tailor our approach accordingly. Areas of support include marketing, quality, supply chain, manufacturing (process improvement, design, automation), and continuous improvement programs.

Q: How do you stay updated on the latest developments or trends in manufacturing and government contracting?

I stay informed by reading industry journals and reports, attending trade shows, and participating in conferences.

Q: What is the best part of your job?

Meeting people from outstanding Iowa companies and witnessing their improvements firsthand is incredibly rewarding.
