Ivy Sales Innovation Summit to feature Principal CEO Dan Houston

(Ames, Iowa) — Registration is now open for the second annual Ivy Sales Innovation Summit, which will take place on May 17 at the Iowa State University Alumni Center. Designed for leaders seeking best practices in sales, the one-day conference will focus on strategies to build sales talent and maximize the use of existing sales technology.

The summit will feature a keynote address by Daniel J. Houston, chairman, president, and CEO of Principal Financial Group. Houston (’84 marketing) will share his views on the importance of selling effectiveness for long-term business success.

Other featured speakers include Kyle Roed, vice president of human resources for CPM Holdings and host of the Rebel HR podcast, and Mike O’Connell (’10 marketing), a leadership coach and former Iowa State football captain. Sales leaders from the Ivy Sales Forum will join faculty from the Ivy College of Business to share practitioner and scholarly perspectives on best practices for selling.
